At One Asia, our journey begins with a love story—one that intertwines
two hearts, two cultures, and a new found home. Our founder’s first visit to Malaysia in 2022 was, as he often recalls, an unexpected twist of fate. Like many people from Myanmar, he didn’t know much about Malaysia, let alone consider visiting. It wasn’t on his radar until his then-girlfriend (now fiancée) convinced him to make the trip. What awaited him was far beyond what he expected. Yes, the stunning Kuala Lumpur skyline left him in awe, the bustling shopping scenes were a delight, and the food—oh, the food—was a symphony of flavors. But what stayed with him, what truly touched his soul, was something deeper: the people of Malaysia.
In the smiles of strangers, in the kindness of a helping hand, and in the open-hearted welcome he received, he found something he didn’t even know he was looking for—a sense of belonging.

- Our CEO and co-founder of One Asia, Edward, is a law graduate with an Honours Law degree from the University of Bristol, U.K. Edward has also obtained dual Masters of Law in the U.K in with a focus on Board Dynamics and Strategy.
- Edward brings a unique blend of expertise and passion to his role as CEO. His professional journey includes invaluable experience in customer service at renowned multinational organisations such as Toyota and Selfridges. His most recent tenure at a specialist law firm in the UK focused on serving High Net Worth Individuals.
- Edward’s ability to solve problems with efficiency, paired with his personal warmth and attention to detail, ensures that every client feels valued and supported. His passion for going above and beyond for his clients is evident in every interaction, driving One Asia’s mission to deliver exceptional experiences.

- Our COO and co-founder of One Asia, Rachel Tan is a Penang native and now splits her time between Penang and Kuala Lumpur. Even though she has an impressive Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Finance from the U.K, Rachel has channeled her talents into her true calling—creating unforgettable experiences. With an innate ability to curate meticulously planned trips, she has a knack for transforming skeptics into life long fans of Malaysia.
